Transponder Database Errors

This page describes errors that you might encounter when tuning channels on your CompuSat system

CompuSat reads tuning information for every channel from your satellite database; if the channel is stored in your custom database, CompuSat uses that information; otherwise, CompuSat using tuning information from the current factory database on your system.

 

CHANNEL PARAMETERS ARE NOT TUNED CORRECTLY ON A RECEIVER

If you tell CompuSat to tune a receiver to a channel, and the receiver is not tuned to the parameters you expect, there are two possibilities:

1.

The information in the CompuSat factory database is wrong.

If this is the case, then please contact us as soon as possible, and we'll update the factory database. And you can custom-tune the channel to fix the problem until the new factory database arrives.

2.

You have already custom-tuned this channel in your database, and the tuning parameters are wrong.

If this is the case, you can delete the channel customizations and revert to the factory database settings.
