ASI Timer Events

CompuSat may be configured to automatically tune an ASI event on receivers that support ASI switching. Follow the steps outlined below. Please note this procedure may change in the future when we discover a more elegant solution.

•	Create a new custom channel on the satellite the receiver will be looking out before the ASI event. When defining this channel, change the Input Type to either ASI 1 or ASI 2 from the default RF selection. If your receiver only supports one ASI input, always select ASI 1. See the FAQ on adding a channel to your custom database for details (here).
•	Once you have a channel where ASI is selected, create a satellite timer event as normal, selecting the satellite/transponder you created for the channel to use for the event. When the event is tuned, CompuSat will select the ASI input of the receiver.
